Chapter Seven:
ReplyDeleteDr Carruthers discussed how Dessalines brought the revolution full circle; the original focus was 'Liberty or Die'. Dessalines was able to unite all the people of Haiti, including women for the Liberation of Africans.
This chapter was really an inspiration. It talks of a leader who never lost focus of Liberation. We can look at the philosophy and apply them today.
If you believe and stay on a mission, use their teachings and philosophy, you can achieve not only our goals, and accomplish their missions of our ancestors and fore parents.
